Privacy Policy
Effective Date: October 14, 2026 (replaces the version dated October 8, 2026)
Last Updated: October 14, 2026 (the Queen’s Bubble Break is weekly again, on the day and time you choose)
Queen Bubbles Bee ("we," "us," "our") operates the website queenbubblesbee.com (the "Site"), where we sell a digital mindfulness course and print-on-demand merchandise, and offer a free "Queen’s Bubble Break" email series. Queen Bubbles Bee is a sole proprietorship based in Florida, USA.
This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect, why we collect it, how we use and share it, and the choices and rights available to you. We've written it to follow the substance of U.S. privacy law, including protections that reach further than what technically applies to a business our size today, because we'd rather have one clear, protective policy than a patchwork of rules that change as we grow. Please read it alongside our Terms of Service.
If anything here is unclear, email us at queenbee@queenbubblesbee.com and we'll explain it in plain terms.
1. Information We Collect
We collect only what we need to run the Site, fulfill orders, and send the emails you sign up for. Specifically:
- Contact information: your email address, and your name if you provide it (for example, in an email you send us). There are no accounts to create on the Site.
- Order and shipping information: name, shipping address, and order contents when you purchase merchandise. This is collected through Stripe Checkout and shared with our fulfillment partner as described below.
- Purchase history: what you bought, when, and order status, so we can help with questions about your order.
- Queen’s Bubble Break details: the day of the week and the time you pick for your weekly Queen’s Bubble Break, your browser’s time zone (so it arrives at that time on your own clock), which the sign-up form sends along with your email address, and the date and number of the last Queen’s Bubble Break we sent you. You can change your day and time from the link in any Queen’s Bubble Break email. We do not record whether you actually take your break. There is nothing to tap, nothing to log, and no streak to keep up.
- Queen’s Bubble Break consent record: when you sign up, we record that you gave consent, whether you agreed to receive news and offers (marketing consent), the version of the exact consent wording you agreed to, the date and time, and the page you signed up on (for example, the home page). This lets us show that we have your permission to email you.
- Group pack and access code information: if you buy a group pack, the number of seats and whether each code has been redeemed. If you redeem an access code, your email address and the date you redeemed it are linked to that code so you can get your own course access. Codes are stored only in a protected (hashed) form that we can’t read back.
- Group pack course progress: if you redeem an access code from a group pack, we keep a record of your progress in the course: which lessons you open, which lesson recordings you start and finish listening to or watching, and your quiz answers and scores. The person who bought the group pack can see this, with the email address you redeemed with, on their group dashboard. We keep this only for group pack seats; if you bought the course yourself, your progress stays in your own browser.
- Communications: messages you send us (support requests, replies to emails), and your email engagement (opens/clicks) for the Queen’s Bubble Break series and order emails.
- Technical and usage data: your IP address and basic browser and device information, which our hosting, DNS, and security providers process automatically in the course of serving pages to you and protecting the Site from abuse. We do not run analytics software and we do not set cookies (see Section 4).
- International waitlist: we sell to the United States and Puerto Rico only. If you are somewhere else and ask us to write when we open where you are, we record: your email address (optional — you can join the list without one); the country you chose on the form; the country your browser’s time zone suggested to us, kept beside it so we can see where our guess and your answer differ; how we learned the country (you picked it, we guessed it from your browser, it came from a Stripe order, or we corrected it by hand); which product you were looking at; whether you checked the consent box, and the version of the exact wording you checked; a short note of your browser and device type, up to 40 characters; anything you choose to type in the “Anything you’d like us to know?” box, up to 200 characters, which is read only by us and never shown publicly; and the dates the record was created and last updated. If you give us an email address, it also goes to a Brevo list kept separately from the Queen’s Bubble Break list.
What we do NOT collect or store:
- Payment card data. Checkout is handled entirely by Stripe's own hosted payment page. We never see, receive, transmit, or store your full card number, CVV, or card expiration date on our own systems.
- Sensitive categories of data. We do not intentionally collect health or medical records, biometric data, precise (GPS-level) geolocation, government-issued ID numbers (like a Social Security or driver's license number), or racial/ethnic, religious, sexual orientation, or immigration-status information. Our course discusses general relaxation and wellness practices; it is not a medical or mental-health service, and we don't ask you about your health to use it.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the information above to:
- Process and fulfill orders (payment via Stripe, shipping via Printful)
- Send order confirmations, shipping updates, and respond to support requests
- Send one email, a week or a few weeks after your purchase, asking for an honest review on Google. We ask every customer once, never again, and not at all if you have unsubscribed from our emails. Reviews you leave on Google are covered by Google’s own privacy policy.
- Send the Queen’s Bubble Break emails you've opted into, including short notes about Queen Bubbles Bee news, offers, and products if you agreed to receive them (see “Queen’s Bubble Break news and offers” below), and let you unsubscribe at any time
- Keep a record of your email consent
- Choose which thank-you discount code goes in your order email (for example, whether you already own the course, so we don’t offer you a course discount you can’t use)
- Deliver course access, including access codes for group packs and the course access of people who redeem them
- Operate, maintain, secure, and improve the Site
- See how much traffic the Site is getting, from the aggregate counts our hosting, DNS, and security providers keep for us
- Comply with legal obligations (tax records, fraud prevention, responding to lawful requests)
We do not use your personal information for any purpose beyond what's described in this policy without giving you notice.
Queen’s Bubble Break news and offers (marketing consent)
- We only email you the Queen’s Bubble Break if you check the consent box when you sign up. The box says: “Yes, send me the free Queen’s Bubble Break email from Queen Bubbles Bee, including news, offers, and updates about Queen Bubbles Bee products. I can unsubscribe anytime.”
- What that means: each Queen’s Bubble Break may include one short, clearly labeled promotional note (for example, about the course, the Beehive Shop, or following us on social media), always after the message. We never include more than one per email.
- Signing up is free and optional. You never have to agree to marketing emails to buy anything from us.
- Changing your mind: every Queen’s Bubble Break has an unsubscribe link. Unsubscribing stops the Queen’s Bubble Break, including its news and offers, and we act on it promptly (always within 10 business days). You can also email us to unsubscribe. We will still send emails you need about something you bought, such as receipts, course access links, group pack codes, and shipping updates.
- If you joined before September 11, 2026, you agreed to the Weekly Uplift (now the Queen’s Bubble Break) only, so your emails don’t include promotional notes unless you sign up again with the current checkbox.
- We never sell or rent our email list, and we don’t share it with other companies for their own marketing.
3. We Do Not Sell or Share Your Personal Information
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not "share" it for cross-context behavioral or targeted advertising, as those terms are defined under California, Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, and similar state privacy laws. We don't use ad-tracking pixels to build advertising profiles about you, and we don't provide your data to data brokers.
If this ever changes in the future (for example, if we add retargeting ads that a state law would classify as "sharing"), we will update this policy first and provide the opt-out mechanisms those laws require — including honoring Global Privacy Control signals (see Section 4).
4. Cookies, Browser Storage, and Tracking
This Site sets no cookies. There is no analytics script, no tag manager, no advertising pixel, and no third-party tracker anywhere on it. That is why you have never seen a cookie banner here: there is nothing to consent to.
No other party collects personally identifiable information about your online activities over time and across different websites when you use this Site.
What we do use is your own browser’s storage. It stays on your device and you can clear it yourself at any time. We cannot read it from our side; the only way anything in it reaches us is when it travels with a request you made yourself, and the table says where that happens. It holds only what the Site needs in order to work:
| What is stored | Why it is there |
|---|---|
| Your shopping bag | So the items you picked are still waiting when you come back to the Beehive Shop |
| The course path you chose, and which lessons you have opened | So the course can pick up where you left off |
| Your quiz answers | So a quiz you have finished stays finished |
| The name and date you typed on your Certificate of Completion | So you don’t have to type them again |
| Your course access token | So you stay signed in to the course on that device |
| A note that you arrived from one of our social posts | So the discount that post offered still applies at checkout. It is sent to us when you land from the post and again when you check out, so your order records which platform you came from |
| Whether you have told us we guessed your country wrong | So we stop showing you the “we don’t sell where you are” panel on that device. The first time you tell us, we also send our server the country we had guessed and which product you were looking at, so we can see where people are being turned away. No email address goes with it unless you join the waitlist yourself |
You can delete all of it from your browser’s settings, usually under “Clear site data” or “Clear cookies and site data.” If you do, your bag empties, the course forgets your progress on that device, and you will need your access link again. Clearing it does not undo the one item above that was already sent to us — the note that our country guess was wrong — because that left your browser when you told us.
Web fonts. Every page on the Site loads two typefaces from Google Fonts, so your browser fetches those font files from Google directly and Google receives your IP address, your browser type, and the fact that the request came from queenbubblesbee.com — but not which page you are on, because the Site sends only its domain name and never the full address. We send Google nothing ourselves, and no cookie is set. See Section 5.
Do Not Track / Global Privacy Control (GPC): Some browsers send a "Do Not Track" signal, and some send a Global Privacy Control signal indicating you don't want your data sold or shared. Because we don't sell or share personal information for advertising purposes, there is currently nothing to opt out of — but we honor GPC signals as a valid opt-out preference signal wherever state law requires it, and we do not discriminate against visitors who send one.
5. Who We Share Information With
We share personal information only with the service providers listed below, who need it to help us run the business — never for their own independent marketing purposes, and never in exchange for money or other value. One name on the list works differently and we want to be straight about it: we send Google nothing, but because the Site’s typefaces are hosted by Google, your browser reaches Google directly and Google sees your IP address. These are all of them:
| Category | Role | Provider(s) |
|---|---|---|
| Payment processor | Securely handles checkout and payment; we never see your full card details | Stripe |
| Order fulfillment partner | Receives your name/shipping address to print and ship merchandise orders | Printful |
| Email service provider | Sends all of our emails: the Queen’s Bubble Break series (including any news and offers you agreed to) and transactional emails (order receipts, course access links, group pack codes, shipping updates), and keeps the Queen’s Bubble Break contact list | Brevo |
| Business email inbox | Hosts our business mailbox, which stores the messages you send us and our replies | Zoho Mail |
| Website hosting | Host the Site (Netlify) and the server and database that handle orders, course access, and email preferences (Render); may provide aggregate traffic/usage statistics | Netlify, Render |
| DNS and security | Routes traffic to the Site and helps protect it from attacks and abuse; processes technical data such as IP addresses | Cloudflare |
| Web fonts | Hosts the two typefaces every page uses. Your browser requests the font files from Google directly, so Google receives your IP address, your browser type, and the fact that the request came from queenbubblesbee.com on each page load — but not which page you are on. We send Google nothing ourselves, and no cookie is set | Google (Google Fonts) |
We require these providers to use your information only to perform services for us and to protect it appropriately. We may also disclose information if required by law (subpoena, court order), to prevent fraud or abuse, or in connection with a business transfer (such as a sale of the business), in which case this policy would continue to apply to your information under the new owner unless you're notified otherwise.
6. Your Privacy Rights
Regardless of which state you live in, we extend the following rights to all visitors and customers, consistent with the most protective standards found across current U.S. state privacy laws (California, Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, and others):
- Right to know/access — what personal information we hold about you and how it's used/shared.
- Right to delete — request deletion of your personal information, subject to limited exceptions (e.g., records we're legally required to keep for tax purposes).
- Right to correct — request correction of inaccurate information.
- Right to data portability — receive a copy of your data in a portable format.
- Right to opt out of sale/sharing/targeted advertising — we don't currently do any of these, but you can still submit this request and we will confirm/honor it.
- Right to non-discrimination — we will not deny you goods/services, charge different prices, or provide a different level of service because you exercised a privacy right.
- Right to appeal — if we deny a rights request, you may appeal by replying to our denial email; we will respond to the appeal within 45 days (extendable by 60 days for complex requests, with notice to you).
Authorized agents may submit a request on your behalf where permitted by law; we may ask for proof of your identity and the agent's authorization before responding.
7. How to Submit a Privacy Request
Email queenbee@queenbubblesbee.com with the subject line "Privacy Request," telling us which right you'd like to exercise and the email address you used with us or on your order. We may ask you to verify your identity (for example, by confirming an order number or the email address on file) before processing sensitive requests like deletion, to protect your data from being accessed by someone impersonating you.
Response time: We will confirm receipt within 10 business days and substantively respond within 45 days of a verifiable request, as required under most state laws. If we need more time (up to an additional 45 days), we'll let you know why.
There is no charge to submit a request, unless it is manifestly unfounded, excessive, or repetitive, in which case we may charge a reasonable fee or decline to act, as permitted by law.
8. Data Retention
We keep personal information only as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this policy: generally, for the life of your customer relationship with us, plus a period afterward to satisfy tax, accounting, and legal recordkeeping obligations (typically up to 7 years for financial records), or until you ask us to delete it (subject to those same legal exceptions). Queen’s Bubble Break email addresses are kept until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete them. We keep the record of your email consent (and of an unsubscribe) for as long as reasonably needed to show that we had your permission or honored your request. Until September 15, 2026 the Weekly Uplift (now the Queen’s Bubble Break) had an “I took my Bubble Break” button, and we kept a dated row each time someone tapped it. We removed that button on September 15, 2026 and no new rows are being written; the rows already recorded are held, unused, while we decide whether to delete them, and you can ask us to delete yours at any time using the contact details in Section 13.
9. Children's Privacy
The Site and our products are intended for general audiences and are not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 (or under 16, where applicable state teen-privacy protections apply), and we do not knowingly sell or share the personal information of anyone we know to be under 16. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us at queenbee@queenbubblesbee.com and we will delete it promptly.
10. Data Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures to protect personal information — including relying on PCI-compliant, industry-standard providers (Stripe) for payment handling, encrypted connections (HTTPS) for the Site, and limiting access to personal information to what's needed to run the business. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security, but we work to protect your information and will notify affected individuals as required by law (including Florida's data breach notification requirements) if a breach occurs.
11. International Visitors
Queen Bubbles Bee is based in, and operates from, the United States, and this policy is written primarily to meet U.S. state privacy law standards. If you are visiting from outside the United States, including from the European Economic Area or United Kingdom, please note that your information will be processed in the United States. We aim to handle EU/UK visitor data consistent with core data protection principles (collecting only what's needed, not selling it, honoring deletion requests), and EU/UK visitors may still email queenbee@queenbubblesbee.com with any privacy request. We do not specifically target or market to EU/UK residents, so full GDPR/UK GDPR compliance program requirements are not the primary basis for this policy's design.
12. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time as our business, or the law, changes. We will post the updated version here with a new "Last Updated" date, and for material changes, we will provide more prominent notice (such as a banner on the Site or an email to subscribers) before the change takes effect.
